Goodness - you can get just about anything online today. Buy a house, get a mortgage, furniture to fill it, a dog to curl up in front of the fireplace - even a bride to come home to. There are tons of Russian women online at dating and personals site hoping to make a match with an American man and make the move overseas. I didn’t realize what a big market there was for women overseas that want to marry men from the US, the UK and Australia. Especially women from Russia and the Ukraine, and other Eastern European nations. I’d be interested to see some stats on how these relationships fare - is the culture shock to much for some? Do the women easily adapt to a life in a country where the streets are paved with gold? Are the men decent to them, or do they expect to be waited on hand and foot? I know of 2 Russian woman living here, but both are married to men they knew in their own country, so I can’t really ask them for information!
