phone home with pingo

We’re off to Canada in June for a family vacation…and the thought occurred to me…will I be able to use my cell phone there? Will I get reception? How does that even work? I’m going to bring my cell phone, but I need to have a back up method of calling home as well, so I’m going to order cards from Pingo that provide International calling card service. Better safe than sorry, right? I looked up rates to call from Canada to the US and it’s only 1.8 cents per minute with a Pingo prepaid calling card. You can look all sorts of International rates up on their site, from calling Japan to Haiti calling card rates. Definitely a good option for a vacation out of the country!
