new capris

With spring coming, I’ll be able to stop wearing jeans every day and show some skin again. Very pale, white skin, but skin all the same. It’s nice to be able to switch back to summer clothes after bundling up for a few months.

I was able to get to Beall’s this week and do a little shopping for the warm weather I can’t wait for. As far as I know, Beall’s is a Florida only chain - it’s just a department store. I found two pairs of Union Bay capri’s (the kind with the drawstring gathers at the calf) on clearance for $17 a pair! Sweet! I tried on several pairs of capri pants and the clearance pairs fit the best. The regularly priced pairs had a button closure only, and I ended up with a big gap above my rear at the waist. (I think they’re designed for women with more junk in the trunk!) The clearance pair had a button closure and a drawstring so I could pull things tight and avoid showing off my panties to the world! I snagged a pair in tan and one in the dark green…and that’s my find for the week.
