But then you would have at least $40 invested already. You can get the starter kit for $60 (I think that's what I paid) and you get SO much more, but it's still not *too* much. I got it from Sephora as bargain shopper that I am, they had the best price at the time. I LOVE this stuff! I only use one of the two shades and the mineral veil though I don't think you can just buy one shade.
