poker table

A friend of mine in town bought her husband a big surprise for Christmas - a new poker table! In addition, she planned a night of poker at their house for his buddies. Boy, was he surprised! More than once, I’ve thought about doing the same for Jim. He loves to play cards, but playing at our dining room table isn’t exactly the same as one of those cool felt poker tables. We don’t have room for a table that’s JUST for poker, but I could totally see doing one of those folding table-top poker tables. It looks like something that could easily be stored under our bed or in the garage when not in use. With 10 drink holders, we’ve got room for plenty of guys around the table….which means Jim stands a good shot at winning back whatever I paid for the table!
