save on souvenirs

We went to a theme park in Orlando yesterday, and aside from buying food and drinks there, we didn’t get any souvenirs. I think my kids have finally realized that as often as we go to the theme parks, we don’t need a t-shirt or a toy every time we go. And my husband and I have realized that those toys only end up in the garage sale pile within a year, so why buy them?

If you can’t live without theme park souvenirs, you can at least get them cheaper. When I went to Orlando for my birthday last year, we stopped at Wal-Mart after we left our hotel. My friends were able to buy Disney t-shirts to take home to their kids for a fraction of what they’d cost at the parks!
