A few years ago, my husband surprised me with a set of pearls - a beautiful necklace and matching earrings. Some of you may think that pearls are something for little old ladies to wear, but I think they’re a classic look that doesn’t really go out of style. Pairing pearls with the right outfit makes you look sophisticated. There are a lot of different varieties of pearls too - they’re not all created equal. You can choose from cultured pearls, freshwater, or even something like this Akoya pearl necklaces. You don’t even have to stick with white - pearls come in a lot of different colors, and shapes, and there’s something to fit every budget.

Come to think of it, I’ll probably be wearing mine on Easter Sunday to church!
