we just bought…
We just made a huge purchase. And in the next 2 months, as soon as our closing is done, we’ll “own” a piece of the Disney magic. Yep, we just joined the Disney Vacation Club! We’ve thought about doing it for years, and it’s finally happening. Our home resort will be the brand new Animal Kingdom Villas located at Animal Kingdom Lodge (our favorite resort!). I put down the down payment today (thank you, PayPerPost, for the cash!) and things will be moving right along. I don’t know if we’ll use our points this year, since we’ve got a big vacation planned for June, but we live so close to Disney that I can see fitting a trip in sometime in the near future.

Congrats! I have the Sunterra vacation club, but they were just bought, so i forget who the company is now! LOL Anyway…we stayed at Cypress Pointe about 2 blocks from Disney in June with it…it was awesome. My aunt is part of the Disney Vacation Club…not sure where her home base is.
