r.i.p - my revlon flat iron
When I arrived at my hotel in Pittsburgh last week, and unpacked, I noticed that I had sustained a casualty on the trip. My faithful Revlon flat iron had cracked and broken in 2, making it inoperable. We had shared so many good times and good hair days together.
I went to Target when I returned home and bought this new flat iron, by Conair. It’s called the Conair Dry N’ Straight Wet-to-Dry.

I thought it would be good for those mornings when my hair isn’t as dry as I’d like, since you can use it with wet hair. It also has a swivel cord and heats up fast. So far, I wish I still had my old Revlon flat iron! The Conair model is much lighter, which for some may be a plus, but I liked the heft of my old flat iron, and it seemed to weight my hair down better when I pulled it through. I also liked the little comb attached to the side of my old flat iron. My hair is VERY thick and it helped to pull my hair straight. The Conair version has small ridges on one of the plates to do the same thing, but it doesn’t work anywhere as well as the comb did.
I’m going to keep an eye out on eBay for my old flat iron - yes, I’m that desperate!

I tried the wet to dry, and gave it to my niece. It’s such a great idea, but I wasn’t thrilled with it
