try & buy, wash & wear

I tried on my new outfit from Ann Taylor for Jim last night and he loved it! He also didn’t ask how much it cost, so that’s a win-win situation I’m going to run to the dry cleaner in a bit and drop off the dress and Jim’s suit so that both can be cleaned and pressed and ready for Saturday night. I’m normally not the type who would dry clean a brand new outfit, or heck, wash it before wearing it, but the dress needs it. It’s a bit wrinkled from being tried on and carried around in a bag.

When you buy new clothes, do you wash them first? I normally don’t, and my husband has to wash everything first. Am I the freak, or is he?
