The big Bath & Body Works clearance sale starts online and in stores on December 27th. My absolute favorite Bath and Body Works items are their Purely Silk lotion ($18 a bottle, but SO worth it) in Warm Vanilla Sugar, and their Sugar Scrub. The Sugar Scrub is awesome for rubbing on your just shaved legs in the shower - it gives them a nice sheen and makes them ooooooooooooooooooh so smooth! I did end up buying quite a bit online at Old Navy after posting about their deals and coupon code (MYGIFTSHOP for 10% off) the other day. I bought a new jacket for my son, since we’re going skiing in a few weeks, and a few things for me (all on clearance - woot!) and got some new flip flops for myself and my oldest (at $1.99, they’ll make a great stocking stuffer for her). My best deal were their girls swimwear seperates. I was able to buy a top and a bottom for each of my girls, that matched, for $3 for each piece. Only $6 per bikini! They’ve got enough bathing suits for now, and it’s a bit cold to be swimming, so I’ll probably put them away until Easter and put them in their Easter baskets. Yep, our Easter bunner usually brings things for the pool! I’ve started making a space in an extra closet in my room for gifts and presents, so I need to stockpile a few things. So far it’s pretty empty, but I do have a few photo albums and notecards I bought on clearance at Target. You never know when you’ll need a little gift for a hostess, or a teacher, or a last minute birthday party, so I like to keep a few things on hand.

I love Skechers - they’re some of the most comfy sneakers and shoes I’ve ever worn. We have a great outlet here in Tampa and I’ve been able to get Skechers on clearance there for some crazy low prices. Being that it’s an outlet of course, they don’t usually have a big selection on the regular styles, and I’ve been coveting these shoes (Bikers) since I saw them a year ago. I just couldn’t see myself spending $50 on a pair of shoes though, regardless of how much I liked them or how comfy they were.

It’s well known that I’m an Old Navy addict. Much of my wardrobe comes from Old Navy. For instance, they are the old store when I can find pants for work that fit and are comfortable - gotta love those super khakis in the extra long length! In a previous post, I mentioned my disappointment with our Sealy Sheets. I won’t be using them for much longer though, because I just ordered some 600 thread count sheets from Overstock.com, based on a recommendation from my friend Amy. I just couldn’t resist the $50 price tag for a king set, and Amy said 600 thread count was decadent. I ended up getting a slighty different set than Amy picked out for her bedroom - I wanted a sateen with a stripe in it, to match our duvet cover. I got the ruby sheets too - love that shade of red!
