I had a 4 or 5 hour Christmas gift wrapping marathon in my family room on Saturday. Just me, and the presents, hunched over my coffee table for hours, watching DVR’ed episodes of Heroes. It was during this time I realized that I may have bought too much. Actually, I know I bought too much stuff. I found presents I purchased from The Disney Store online MONTHS ago, and forgot about. I bought some Dash (The Incredibles) jammies this month from Disney for Christmas. Guess what? I also bought the very same set months ago, and forgot about them, so now we have 2 pairs of the same jammies. Whoops! Do you ever do that?
The good news is, I’m done. I’m done shopping, I’m done wrapping, and I’m ready for Santa. Are you still shopping, or are you sitting back and enjoying the calm before the storm, like me?

Every year, my kids make some sort of homemade gift to give to their aunts and uncles and grandmothers. We happened to be in Joann the other day and we found the perfect craft for the kids to make this year - painted picture frames. Joann had a whole aisle of small wooden ornaments ready for painting, and we found some that were a frame that you can insert a smaller wallet sized picture into. Perfect for the school pictures! And at only 50 cents each, we could afford to buy for the whole family. We just had to buy 4 bottles of craft paint in holiday colors (only $1 each) and we had a fun craft for the kids to make and give for Christmas.
